This is a personal website about garage doors. I’ve chosen to write about this topic because I think it’s a serious safety issue with people attempting to fix their garage doors by themselves and getting injured or even killed by those torsion springs that are so dangerous.

This is why I’m trying to draw attention that nobody should attempt such repairs. Besides, depending on the garage door type and model, there are maintenance issues you need to be aware of and respect.
